How You Can Help

The Ajara Project is a library project dedicated to building a library
for the people of Ajara in West Africa.

It is a project of RethinkAfrica, a 510(c)3 non-profit organization.

Why A Library? In Ajara, students are dropping out of school because they don’t have money to buy books. Many of them are willing to study on their own, but there is no library for them to check out books. Those who want to take professional exams need information and resources that only a library can provide.

Books have knowledge; knowlege is power. Supporting a library is a way of empowering the people.

Picture yourself as an agent of hope—providing the tools for people to self-develop. Please watch our 3-minute video to learn more:

Share our dream: Books can bring knowledge and inspiration to the people of Ajara.
