What We Have Done
- We provide food, material goods, medicine, and funds to alleviate poverty and suffering.
- We run a Food for School program (FFS). Many brilliant children in these villages are dropping out of school because of hardship. We assist their families by feeding these kids so that can stay in the classroom.
- We provide school materials, such as books, uniforms, etc, for those who cannot afford them.
- We rescue abused orphans from domestic slavery, feed them, and sponsor their education.

What We Are Raising Money For
We are raising money to build a Resource Center. Thanks to your support, more than 50 people have completed elementary and secondary education with the help of our Food for School program. The success of the program and the numerous conversations with the villagers have given us a larger vision: to help the people to fish for themselves, rather than just give them fish to eat; to give them a hands-up, instead of hand-outs.
This requires the building of a Resource Center with the following facilities: (i) a library; (ii) a soup kitchen and cafeteria; (iii) a clinic; (iv) a computer lab; (v) a multi-purpose hall for workshops and the arts; and (vi) a storage facility for resources and supplies.
Our Objectives
The Resource Center will:
- Develop young talents and inspire creativity
- Provide medical aid and preventable treatments
- Provide the highly intelligent but impoverished youth with training and skills needed to maximize their potential and become productive
- Provide the resources needed to achieve social and academic success
- Motivate, inspire, empower, and challenge these severely unfortunate young people to use the acquired skills and information to escape poverty
- Create workshops where the children and youth can come together to tell their stories, share their struggles, dreams and hopes
- Teach the youth to think of possibilities, become positive and proactive thinkers, be accountable to one another, and learn to take advantage of the resources provided in a way that gives back to their community.
